3. Location Permission

The application requests location permission only for students.

Location is used exclusively to:

• Verify hostel check-in and check-out.
• Verify internship check-in and check-out.
• Ensure students are within the permitted geofence area.
• Prevent unauthorized attendance outside the allowed location.

The application does not continuously track students in the background for monitoring purposes. Location is accessed only when required for attendance verification and related features.

The application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send important notifications.
